Data Deletion Policy for MGS WA

At MGS WA, we respect your right to control your data. This Data Deletion Policy explains how users can request deletion of their data and how we handle such requests in accordance with data protection regulations.
1. User-Initiated Data Deletion
a. Account Deletion Request
You can request deletion of your MGS WA account and associated data by contacting our support team at [insert email] or using the account settings on our platform (if available).
b. What Gets Deleted
Once a valid request is received and verified, the following data will be permanently deleted from our systems:
User profile data (name, email, phone, etc.)
Connected WhatsApp Business account data
Chatbot scripts and flows
Message logs and analytics
Stored templates, media files, or configuration settings
c. Deletion Timeframe
We aim to process all verified deletion requests within 7 business days. You will be notified once the process is complete.
2. Automatic Data Deletion
a. Inactive Accounts
Accounts that remain inactive for more than 12 months may be flagged for deletion. We will notify you by email before any deletion action is taken.
b. Data Retention Limits
Chat logs and message data may be automatically deleted after 90 days unless retention is necessary for troubleshooting or legal obligations.
3. Exceptions
We may retain certain information for a limited period if:
Required by law (e.g., tax or financial records)
Necessary to resolve disputes or enforce agreements
Involved in investigations related to fraud, abuse, or misuse
4. Third-Party Data
If you’ve connected third-party services (like the WhatsApp Business API), you are responsible for managing data within those platforms. Deleting your MGS WA account does not automatically delete data held by WhatsApp or Meta.
5. Data Backups
Data stored in backups will be overwritten in the normal course of backup rotation (within 30–60 days). We do not restore individual data from backups once an account is deleted.
